You’d think that a designer with 10 years experience in print and webwork, impeccable technical skills and a great portfolio would be a commodity. That this person wouldn’t have any problems securing a job… But you’d be wrong. At least that’s been the case with me since I moved here. Finding work is extremely difficult.
I just left an interview with The Creative Group (another temp agency). Everything seemed to go rather well. Hopefully they will be able to find work for me. Here’s to hope!
