So most every Tuesday night for the last several months, I’ve been going to a sketch class in SOMA. My friend Mark Chester runs it. He asked if I would model for the class one time and for some reason or another I said “sure.” So tonight I did.
Twas a very interesting experience. It was also kinda fun. And difficult! Holding a pose for so long (15-20) minutes is a lot more strenuous than one would think. It really gave me a perspective. At first I thought I might have a problem taking my clothes off and being scrutinized for 2 and half hours by a room full of guys… But ya know? It wasn’t a problem at all. It actually felt strangely empowering. The chances of me doing it again are pretty good, I’d say.
